IRIS HOUSE, is a Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) designed to provide a safe and supportive living environment for youth that are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ). Youth who have previously experienced difficulty at home or in placement due to their gender expression or sexual identities are all welcome here! IRIS HOUSE Offers young people a safe environment to live while they prepare for family reunification, independent living, and future self-sufficiency.

IRIS HOUSE is located in Long Beach, California. Our STRTP Offers 24-hour supervision, individual and group therapy, and other programs aimed to help young people with growth and development into adulthood. IRIS HOUSE is a 6-bed home that serves all youth with a specialty in LGBTQ youth who are in need of a safe and nurturing environment in order to reintegrate back into the community and/ or a family setting. IRIS HOUSE will be opening soon currently in the contract process with Los Angeles County
